Year-round United Express service to Denver and seasonal Delta Connection service to Salt Lake City begin at Canyonlands Regional Airport in October
MOAB, Utah, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Canyonlands Regional Airport (CNY) will have air service to both Denver and Salt Lake City beginning in October, with United Express service launching Oct. 7 and Delta Connection service returning Oct. 1. Both flights are operated by SkyWest Airlines.

The new service gives travelers additional options for reaching Moab from two major hubs, with year-round service to Denver and seasonal service to Salt Lake City, as well as connections to destinations across the respective airline networks.
“New service from Denver and Salt Lake City makes Moab easier to reach from across the country and around the world,” said Michael Soleta, director of the Moab Office of Tourism. “And once you’re here, there’s a lot more to Moab than you can fit into a day or two. Easier access gives travelers another reason to stay longer, explore more of the surrounding area and experience everything that makes Moab such a remarkable place.”
The new United Express service between CNY and Denver International Airport (DEN) will operate year-round, with one or two daily roundtrip flights. The first flight is scheduled to depart Denver at 8 a.m. on Oct. 7 and arrive to Moab at 9:30 a.m. The return flight will depart CNY at 10:10 a.m. and arrive to Denver at 11:35 a.m.
Delta Connection service between CNY and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) will operate seasonally, with one daily roundtrip flight beginning Oct. 1. Service will operate through Thanksgiving before pausing and returning in March. The first flight is scheduled to depart SLC at 3:40 p.m. and arrives to Moab at 4:40 p.m., with return flight departing CNY at 5:36 p.m. and arriving to SLC at 6:40 p.m.
“We’re excited to bring both United Express and Delta Connection service to the Moab community,” said Cody Thomas, Managing Director of Market Development at SkyWest Airlines. “Having direct access to Denver and Salt Lake City, along with the ability to connect on United’s and Delta’s global networks, makes it easy and convenient for local travelers to get anywhere they want to go and allows new opportunities for those who want to experience this incredible region.”
United flights are onboard the 50-passenger CRJ200 aircraft. Delta flights are onboard the 50-passenger CRJ550 aircraft, with Delta First, Delta Comfort and Delta Main seating.
Passengers can book flights at united.com or delta.com, or through the airline’s mobile apps. Travelers will also earn MileagePlus miles on United Express flights and SkyMiles on Delta Connection flights.
